Mr. Richard Raymond “Jughead” Conklin

Mr. Richard Raymond Conklin of Port Jervis, NY, died on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at home. He was 81.

He was born November 30, 1941, in Oxford, NY the son of the late Nicholas and the late Ellen Youmans Conklin.

Rich worked for many years as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Blooming Grove Twp. He was an Auxiliary member of the Port Jervis Fire Department, Engine 4.

He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and crabbing.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Dawn Coffey and his 7 siblings.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771 on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 11:00am – 1:00pm.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Rev. Keith Raser officiating.

Cremation will be at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA.
