Bell homer lifts ValleyCats over Sussex County in doubleheader opener

Bell drove lefty reliever James Mulry’s offering 408 feet to give Tri-City a 6-3 lead.

His homer scored pinch-runner Jace Mercer and Culver, the former Sussex-County shortstop whom the ValleyCats claimed on waivers from the Miners on July 17.
